The RDS 81346 app helps you to easily look up classification codes to be used in reference designations for technical systems and their documentation, based on the ISO/IEC 81346 standard series for Reference Designation Systems (RDS) for systems and the IEC 61355 standard for classification of documents.
You can easily find the proper classification by searching either for letter codes, definitions or technical terms.
Examples of common terms from the standards and industry are available for all classes, making it possible to simply search for the name of an object you want to classify and find the proper class.
The RDS 81346 app also has the capability to make your own company’s terms made available for searching by your employees, so they can easily find the right classification for their designs.
Observe: The current version of the RDS 81346 app includes the classification codes for the upcoming revision of ISO/IEC 81346-2, to be published in 2016/2017. The codes are available in the Committee Draft version and will be updated accordingly upon publication of the new revision of the standard.
